Target Group

The programmes offered in the Faculty of Education are generally intended for those who qualify for university admission and in-service teachers who may wish to upgrade the knowledge and skills in teaching. They are particularly suitable for:

  1. Candidates directly coming from secondary schools (Those who completed advanced level)
  2. In-service teachers who lack the requisite teaching qualifications or those wanting to upgrade their skills in teaching.
  3. Professionals working in education related organizations
  4. Those inspired to become experts in teaching and education

 Faculty Graduates

The Faculty’s graduates take on many different career paths. Some aspire to become researchers in education and go to graduate schools. Some become teachers. Others join Diploma teachers training Colleges and some join newspaper, television, or publication companies to pursue careers as education journalists or editors. Some enter private companies and work in internal education- or personnel-related sections. Others become government officials in charge of planning, financing, and managing out educational programs and policies.
