College Postgraduate studies, Research and Consultancy
Research undertakings and provision of public service are ones of core functions of MUCE. College Postgraduate studies, Research and Consultancy (CPRC) is the Unit which oversees research activities, postgraduate programmes and provision of public service. The Unit deals with all matters of the postgraduate studies such as processing of admissions and marketing of the postgraduate programmes, establish new postgraduate programmes, monitoring of the postgraduate studies and developing policies and guidelines related to postgraduate studies and facilitate their effective implementation.
In collaboration with the Deputy Principal’s Office, the CPRC office guides and monitors the implementation of University of Dar es Salaam Research Agenda, spearhead the implementation of College Research Policy and Operational Procedures, College Research Ethics Policy, College Intellectual Property Policy and Research Quality Assurance plan.
Being a public institution, MUCE is compelled to engage actively in public services provision. The CPRC Unit is responsible for establishing appropriate guidelines to spearhead the provision of good quality public services aiming at transforming society.
